Feeling unseen by her husband, the wife of an obsessed, glaucoma-stricken art historian takes
radical measures to reignite the spark in their relationship.

Masha is a screenwriter-director based in London and Paris.
Masha’s short historical thriller “Saint Vassily” (2024)
premiered at HollyShorts, with selections at HollyShorts
London (UK), the European Film Festival of Lille (FR), and
Beeston Film Festival (UK). It was made in collaboration with
DP Arnaud Potier (Gus Van Sant’s upcoming “Dead Man’s
Wire”) and editor Helle le Fevre (Joanna Hogg’s “The
Souvenir”). In addition to being in pre-production for her
short erotic thriller “Marion”, Masha is in funded development
for her debut feature psychological thriller-horror
“Penumbra”, written by Raphaël Duhamel. Both “Marion” and
“Penumbra” are UK-France co-productions. Masha is a UCL
and Oxford alumna.
