The First Feature LAB supports emerging writer-directors developing their debut feature film. Combining professional training, international mentorship, and direct industry access, the LAB is a unique two-phase program in collaboration with Festival de Cannes – SFC Rendez-vous Industry. Participants begin with online masterclasses and a live pitch at Linz ISFF, with selected projects advancing to a tailored mentoring phase. The program concludes with an exclusive pitch event at the Festival de Cannes 2026, connecting filmmakers to producers, sales agents, and global collaborators—laying the foundation for their first feature to reach the international market.
