The Short Film LAB is an international development and industry exposure program for emerging writer-directors working on bold, original short film projects. Conducted in collaboration with Festival de Cannes – SFC Rendez-vous Industry, the LAB unfolds in two phases: an online masterclass and in-person pitch session at Linz International Short Film Festival, followed by a mentoring and industry networking phase for selected participants, culminating in a pitch event at the Marché du Film, Cannes 2026.
