Logline:
Three informal car guards control parking spots around a stadium in São Paulo, charging fans to leave their cars on the street. Between threats and jokes, they take over the streets on match days, revealing a world where violence and freedom blur.
Matheus Malburg is a Brazilian director and screenwriter. His graduation short Yuta screened at festivals including Camerimage and Watersprite, and later evolved into a feature project in development. He went on to direct We’re Still Here, selected for Bogoshorts, Nòt Film Fest, and Camerimage again. His latest short, Chica, took part in The Short Film Lab at Ventana Sur, premiered at Indie Lisboa, and was selected for Hamburg Kurzfilm. In 2026, he participated in Málaga Talents and the Linz Talent Academy.
